Emmanuel Gyimah will be leaving his post as acting General Secretary of the Ghana FA in June, according to local reports.
Sportscrusader reported on Monday that the reserved chief scribe will leave the post he has held since 2006 in an acting capacity to make way for a substantive appointment.
Reasons for Gyimah’s reported departure were however not given.
The GFA now intend to appoint a substantive replacement for Kofi Nsiah almost nine years after his exit.
Emmanuel Gyimah is however not being considered for this appointment, according to the report.
The Ghana FA attempted some few years back to make a substantive appointment by advertising the post of which the likes of now Executive Committee member Kudjoe Fianoo responded to.
It is unclear if the AshGold chief is still eligible for that position by virtue of his election onto the Executive Committee.
Ashford Tettey Oku, who is currently the Vice President of the Ghana FA’s Premier League Board has also been linked to the job as is Kurt Okraku and Isaac Addo.
