Ghana striker Emmanuel Banahene made a stunning return to action by bagging a hat-trick for Ismaily in their league win over Asyouty Sport on Sunday afternoon.
The 26-year-old has been out of action for almost a month now having sustained a knee injury which was initially feared to be serious.
But further tests revealed he needed close to four weeks to regain full fitness and he returned with a bang.
He opened the scoring on 16 minutes before adding the second 13 minutes later at the Ismailia Stadium.
Banahene’s third was struck in the 53rd minute then Shoukri Nagib made it 4-0 on the hour mark.
Ismaily’s final goal was scored by Amr Al Sulaya on 71 minutes.
Asyouty Sport grabbed a consolation goal in added on time through Teddy Adams.
