Nigerian forward, Chidera Ejuke was named Man of the Match after an impressive display in Sevilla's 1-0 pre-season friendly win over Saudi club Al-Ittihad on Friday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Ejuke, who joined Sevilla on a free transfer last month, mesmerized the Al-Ittihad defence with his pace and dribbling runs, causing problems for the opposition throughout the encounter.
On back the recognition for his outstanding performance, the former CSKA Moscow winger thanked his teammates for their support.
The decisive goal was scored by Argentina international Lucas Ocampos three minutes before the break, securing the win for Sevilla.
Ejuke's performance has raised expectations that he will be a key player for Sevilla in the upcoming season, following his impressive debut outing for the former UEFA Europa League winners.
