After months out due to injury, Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi returned to action in Leicester City's win over Sunderland AFC in the English Championship on Tuesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Ndidi returned after about 3 months been out, an injury that saw him miss the African Cup of Nations in Cote D'Ivoire.

He played for 18 minutes after coming in for Yinus on 71 minute as the league leaders stayed strong to win 1-0, returning to winning ways on the back of three consecutive league defeats.

Jamie Vardy's goal in the first half was enough for the Foxes to take maximum points at the Stadium of light.

Dewsbury-Hall with a brilliant free-kick in from the left, Faes met it and forced a stunning save, but only to Vardy, who plants home his header.

The win keeps Leicester City top on the log with 3 points ahead of Ipswich Town.
