In a glowing tribute, the WAFU-B Women Champions League winners celebrated Abideen's great football attributes describing her as an irreplaceable icon.
"Today, we say goodbye to not only a brilliant player but a remarkable leader and icon of Edo Queens FC, Suliat Abideen. With every game, Suliat showed unmatched commitment, grit, and passion. Her exceptional skill, sharp instincts, and undeniable presence on the field brought immense pride and numerous laurels to our club, including the unforgettable winning goal in the final of the WAFU Zone B tournament. Her contributions have shaped our team and inspired every one of us."
The statement went on to thank her for her time with the club and wish her well for the future as she joins the Turkish Women's Football Club, ABB Fomget FC.

Suliat Olajumoke has been an outstanding player for the Edo State Women Football Club outfit after she emerged as Sheroes Cup 2023 MVP, Betsy Obaseki Cup 2023 MVP, NWFL Premiership 2024 MVP and WAFU-B WCL Qualifiers MVP.
