Edo Queens of Nigeria and Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa Ladies will contest the UFOA-B Women’s qualifying tournament final at the Stade du 4-Aout in Ouagadougou, with the winner securing the regional title and direct qualification for the next CAF Women’s Champions League.

Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00 GMT, with both sides having confirmed their starting line-ups ahead of the decisive match in Burkina Faso.

Nigeria’s Edo Queens will begin with Charlotte Adjie in goal. She will be protected by Glory Edeth, Marylyn Essien, Uroko Valentina, Ufeoma Ikenokwalu, Saidat Adebiyi, Folorunso Aminat, Chioma Moses, Dooshima Tarnum, Annastasia Doosuur and Oluwakemi Adebiyi.

For Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Rose has been selected as goalkeeper, while Nancy will captain the Ghanaian side. The rest of the starting line-up is made up of Patience, Maltiti, Rebecca, Asana, Patricia, Beline, Gloria, Milot and Asimo.

The final carries significant importance beyond the regional championship. The team that prevails at the Stade du 4-Aout will be crowned champions of the UFOA-B zone and will receive a direct place in the next CAF Women’s Champions League.

Edo Queens therefore go into the match knowing that victory would deliver both silverware and a route to the continent’s leading women’s club competition. Ampem Darkoa Ladies have the same opportunity, with the Ghanaian club also seeking to claim the regional crown and secure its place on the continental stage.

The match is due to begin shortly after the official teams were announced. The Nigerian and Ghanaian representatives will meet under the conditions of a single final, with the outcome determining the champion of the UFOA-B women’s qualifying tournament.

Charlotte Adjie is named in goal for Edo Queens, while Rose takes the goalkeeper’s position for Ampem Darkoa Ladies. Nancy has been given the additional responsibility of leading the Ghanaian team as captain.

The starting selections confirm the players entrusted with the final by both clubs as they prepare for the 19:00 GMT kick-off. For the victorious side, the reward will be immediate qualification for the next CAF Women’s Champions League, as well as recognition as the best team in the UFOA-B zone.

The Stade du 4-Aout in Ouagadougou will host the contest, which brings together Edo Queens and Ampem Darkoa Ladies in a final with the regional title and continental qualification both at stake.
