Nigeria's Ebenezer Akinsanmiro had played his first game for Italian Serie A side, Sampdoria in their Coppa Italian round of 64 tie on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 19-year-old featured as a starter in his side's 5-4 victory on penalties over newly promoted side, Como at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium.
