The Commercial Court at the Prempeh Assembly Hall, Kumasi has adjourned to July, 30 2015, the case in which former Kotoko Executive Chairman, Dr. K. K. Sarpong has sued the club over monies owed him.
At a pre-trial on Friday in the chambers of the Trial Judge, Emmanuel Ankamah, the parties failed to reach an agreement to a proposal for an independent accounting expert to audit the claims of both parties after Kotoko also counter-claimed against Dr. Sarpong.
The pre-trial, which is supposed to fast track the main trial is set to resume on the adjourned date with parties expected to set the issues for pre-trial.
A large crowd filled the courtroom with others gathered outside the court as Kotoko General Manager, Opoku Nti and Dr. Sarpong accompanied by their lawyers and well-wishers shuffled between the courtroom and the car park.
