Very little progress has been made by the NFF Secretariat in their bid to secure travelling visas from the French Embassy for the entire backroom staff of the Super Eagles ahead of the international friendlies with Mali and Luxembourg due for later this week.

Team coordinator of the Super Eagles, Patrick Pascal confirmed that only a few persons including the interim head coach of the team had been issued the visas, while a final push will be made on Monday as the group is due to travel out on Tuesday.

Pascal expressed hope, over the possibility of getting every listed backroom staff travelling out for the friendlies but was more enthusiastic about the head coach leading the team in the friendlies.

footballlive.ng also gathered that a few top names including Ahmed Musa, Mikel Obi, Aaron Samuel and William-Troost Ekong, will be missing from the Eagles line up.
