“We lost 1-2 to MFM FC, a painful defeat and a dent on our image, so we are heading to Lagos to recover wholly the three points.
“The players are 100% ready for the clash and quite boosted by the heart-warming victory against champions, Enyimba.
“Already we understand that the second stanza of the league will be quite a different ball game compared with the first term.
“The second stanza is certain going to determine the champions as well as the relegated sides so we are throwing into the ring everything to ensure we are counted positively among our competitors.
“MFM FC have shown with their past results that they do not have respect for any team so we have steeled ourselves to battle it out with them for the points at stake.
“It’s sure going to be a difficult match but we hope to come out winners at the end of the day,” said the former ABS coach to supersport.com.
The Lafia outfit have garnered 24 points from possible 57 in the 20-week old Nigerian top-flight.
