Reports coming out of Abuja now hint that the gaffer may now be forced to rely more heavily on his foreign pros who are yet to arrive.

The local Eagles had been in camp in Abuja ahead of the games

The team has played 3 test games. They won the first game 2-0 over the Dream Team VI and lost by the same margin against the same team a day after, and have now played a barren draw against Katsina United yesterday.

Understandably, Siasia has again expressed displeasure with the team’s performance for the second time in two days. and now hinted on possibly fielding only the foreign-based professionals against Egypt, if the locals dont up the ante.

He shared his disappointment with supersport.com saying “By now I supposed to have seen a wonderful display from my boys. What worries me most, is their nonchalant attitude in front of goal. They found it difficult to create scoring chances and even the few ones created were fluffed.

He has meanwhile given the team a short break so those who need to, can honour their NPFL matches. The coach hopes the break will also give the players time to reflect on the chance been given them to wear the Green White Green and perform accordingly.

Egypt arrive in Nigeria between the 19th and 23rd depending on what report you read out of Cairo, to take on the Eagles on the 25th in Kaduna.
