Coach Herbert Addo admits he is sad to be leaving Hearts of Oak but insists the solution to the sharp decline of the team’s performance must be found.
The experienced trainer reached an agreement to part ways with the club on Tuesday just under a year of taking over.
Hearts’ already underwhelming campaign has taken for the worse since the start of the second half of the season.
The early season promise especially in their failed bid in the CAF Confederation Cup has completely eluded them in recent games.
This led to a board resolution to have Addo who only arrived from Inter Allies at the start of the season replaced as coach of the side.
The former Premier League winner with Aduana Stars admits the decision which is seeing him leave the Accra-based club once more again is saddening.
“I am very sad but then a solution must be found,” he told Angel FM.
“I don’t know what the problem is. The management mist sit down to find out what the problem is.
“I cannot put my finger on what the problem is.”
Herbert Addo’s assistant Dauda Lutterodt will also be leaving the club.
Former Berekum Chelsea coach Tony Lokko has been linked to the now vacant job.
