Nigerian defender Oluwatosin Demehin has extended her contract with Turkish Women's side Galatasaray for another season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 23-year-old centre-back joined the Istanbul giants on a free transfer in September 2024, initially signing a one-year deal.

Demehin's contract extension comes after an impressive debut season, where she featured in 26 games across all competitions, scoring one goal.

Her performances were instrumental in Galatasaray's success, particularly in their historic Champions League campaign.

The defender's experience playing for Nigeria's national team has undoubtedly contributed to her growth as a player.

Demehin was part of the Super Falcons' squad that won the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations title in July.

Galatasaray's decision to extend Demehin's contract reflects the club's commitment to nurturing and retaining talented players.
