Debutant Tanimu delighted with his time with the Super Eagles

Benjamin Tanimu expressed his elation at making his debut for the Super Eagles, describing it as a dream fulfilled, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 21-year-old centre-back, representing Tanzanian club Ihefu SC, featured in the Super Eagles' 2-1 friendly victory against the Black Stars of Ghana, partnering Semi Ajayi in the heart of the defense.

After 71 minutes if play, Taminu was substituted for match winner, Ademola Lookman.

Taking to social media, Tanimu celebrated his milestone, thanking God and expressing gratitude to the coaching staff, backroom team, and senior players for their warm reception.

He also extended appreciation to his fans worldwide, particularly Nigerians, and praised the Nigerian media for their support.

Tanimu, formerly a key player for Nigeria Premier Football League side Bendel Insurance, expressed his eagerness to continue supporting the Eagles.
