"?David Nugent has expressed his delight at reuniting with Steve McClaren - the only manager to give him an England cap.
Nugent has joined McClaren's Derby from Middlesbrough, in a deal believed to be around £2.5m. The 31-year-old has plenty of experience at Championship level, having played for Bury, Preston North End, Portsmouth and Leicester.
Speaking to the "?Derby Telegraph, Nugent said: "He [McClaren] is a great coach and he has clearly given the club a lift coming back, as the results have shown - I am just happy to come here and play for him. Hopefully, I can score the goals as well."

"?"?Nugent has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Rams and he is sure that his playing style will suit that of his former international coach.
"The England cap was a long time ago now, back in 2007 against Andorra, so I know Steve pretty well," he added.
"I've kept in touch with him and he knows that kind of player I am - and he thinks I can do well for this team."
There is no doubt that the pinnacle of Nugent's career was representing his country under McClaren and having the impressive record of a goal-a-game - even if it is with only the one cap.
Having not featured for Middlesbrough this season, the striker will be eager to prove he can still hit the back of the net at a high level.
No stranger to new surroundings, there is no doubt that Nugent will settle in fast with his new teammates.
