Former Real Madrid defender David Alaba is attracting interest from Mexican club America, according to journalist Matteo Moretto.
America are considering whether to make an approach for the 34-year-old Austria international. However, there is currently no agreement between the parties and no official negotiations have taken place.
Alaba joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2021 after leaving Bayern Munich. During the previous season, he made 16 appearances in all competitions but did not register an assist.
The defender left Real Madrid as a free agent after the season ended.
America’s reported interest comes as Alaba considers the next stage of his career after four years at the Spanish club.
