Mauricio Pochettino praises Tottenham's performance in their draw at Real Madrid, especially the play of Hugo Lloris..
Danny Rose has said he had expected a negative reception from Tottenham Hotspur fans when he came on at Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Defender Rose, who suggested in the summer that he wanted to leave the club and criticised their transfer policy, thanked Spurs' travelling support for their backing at the Bernabeu.
Speaking after the 1-1 draw with the Champions League holders, Rose, who made his first appearance since injuring his knee in January, said he wanted to focus on winning back his place for Tottenham and England.
In the summer, Rose said he would consider offers to go and wanted to play "up North," suggesting he did not feel he was being paid what he was worth at Spurs.
The 27-year-old was made to apologise publicly, but there was no hint of animosity from Tottenham's supporters on Tuesday.

And he said: "I was expecting a frosty reception from the fans, so I just have to say thankyou to them for giving me a great reception when I came on and when I was training afterwards.
"I want to thank them again for chanting my name. I'm trying to look forward now for the rest of the season. First and foremost, I have to try to win my shirt back.
"It [the controversy] is gone now, my manager has forgotten about it and we all move forward and we try to win this club a trophy. My opinions will be voiced in a different way from now on."
Rose had been out for almost nine months after damaging his medial ligaments and had surgery in May.
He said it had been "very difficult, very frustrating," but added: "To come on for the last 15 minutes against Real it was special, and I can't wait to get going now. I'm over the moon I'm back."
Rose replaced Fernando Llorente against Real and slotted into an unfamiliar central midfield role as Tottenham held on for a share of the spoils.
