Former Whites defender Danny Mills believes Garry Monks' Leeds United will find it difficult to break into the top two in the Championship next season.
While being interviewed on the"? Alan Brazil's Sports Breakfast Show on talkSport last Friday, Mills expressed his concern and the struggle that his former side may face in the upcoming season.
"It's a marathon season," the former defender told the talk show.
"It's very, very difficult, and the likes of Leeds United are going to find it very, very difficult to break into that top echelon and try to get automatic promotion.
Leeds United may be one of the biggest teams in England, however, the Whites will find it hard to compete with the 'big boys' as they do not posses the same budget as the likes of Newcastle United and Derby County.
"I think the quality and the strength of sides, and the size of clubs now in that division is absolutely phenomenal."?
Following a below par campaign, Garry Monk will be aiming to get into the play-offs and lead the Whites' return to the Premier League.
