Danny Drinkwater has recalled the amusing occasion when Sir Alex Ferguson gave him a severe dressing-down.
Drinkwater came through the Manchester United academy but never made a first-team appearance for the Red Devils. The Englishman shared the story of how Ferguson once “tore him apart”, although no further details of the incident were provided.
In 2016, Drinkwater became an English champion as part of the Leicester squad.
