Dani Olmo says Croatia “gave me everything I have” as he prepares to return to the country with Spain for their Nations League meeting.
The Barcelona midfielder moved from Barcelona to the academy at Dinamo Zagreb in 2014. He later spent more than five years with the Croatian club’s first team before joining RB Leipzig in January 2020.
Olmo subsequently returned to Barcelona, but said Croatia remains a significant part of his footballing journey.
Croatia and Spain will meet in Split on 6 October.
