Nigeria Professional Football League side Dakkada FC has completed loan transfers of three players ahead of the 2022/2023 season.
The players: Bassey Bassey - Midfielder, Edoho Mfon - Defender and Henry Anthony - Defender are from Sir Monty Football Club based in Akwa Ibom.
The club had announced the move on Thursday via its social media page.
It stated that "The three players were fantastic throughout the 2021/2022 Season, as the club reached the Akwa Ibom State FA Cup semi-final and narrowly missing out of promotion to the second division in our debut season."
"All three players have since resumed at their new club with Sir Monty FC's best wishes for a fruitful and successful season."
It is barely 9-months after the clubs formation on February 3, 2022, this is the first outgoing transfer activity at the club. One with loads of positives pointing at a bright future.
Club Chairman Prince Ukeme Ukpong succinctly captures the feeling in this lines " This club was formed with a vision to discover and give a platform to young talented players, 9-months on we have our first transfers to NPFL club Dakkada FC, expect more. "
Dakkada who finished 14th last season will be seeking to better that position when the new season begins.
