Coventry end barren run as Jay Dasilva settles Nottingham Forest contest

Coventry secured their first win of the 2026/27 Premier League season by beating Nottingham Forest 1-0.

The only goal came in the 55th minute, when Jay Dasilva finished from Carl Rushworth’s pass to put the visitors ahead.

Nottingham Forest pushed for an equaliser after falling behind, but Coventry held on to their advantage until the final whistle. The scoreline remained unchanged for the rest of the match.

The result ended Coventry’s run of poor results and moved them on to three points in the English championship.

Nottingham Forest remain on five points.
