Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has commented on rumours claiming that Vinicius Junior has been replaced by a lookalike.
A theory that the real Vinicius had died and that another person was playing for Real Madrid quickly gained popularity online. Various photographs were also circulated as supposed evidence.
Vinicius has faced criticism this season for his performances. Under Jose Mourinho, the Brazil international has made 10 appearances for Real Madrid, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
