Corporate affairs manager of Hearts of Oak Joe Addo has reaffirmed his confidence in head coach Herbert Addo by insisting the club is heading towards the right direction.
Hearts have endured a difficult start to the second half of the season with a defeat to Wa All Stars and a draw to Inter Allies following a narrow win over relegation threaten Great Olympics.
The Phobians also failed to reach the Group Stages of the CAF confederation with a 4-0 defeat away to Esperance before playing out a 1-1 drawn game at home to bow out with a 5-1 score line.
Some fans have questioned the direction the club is heading but Joe Addo says all they need is time to turn things around.
“We are heading towards the right direction. We have a young squad and a few internationals and a new coach and that will take time to come good,” Joe Addo told Accra based Citi FM
“The results have not been the ones which we would have desired but we are working to ensure we do better.”
“But we are not looking for instant results in the next year or two we should be ok.”
Hearts are 10th on the league table with 25 points from 19 games played.
