Valencia head coach, Carlos Corberán has hailed the attitude of Nigerian forward Umar Sadiq after making his debut for the Spanish club, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Sadiq, 27, played his first game for Valencia in Tuesday's 2-0 Copa del Rey win over Eldense, just days after joining the club on loan from Real Sociedad.
Corberán, who recently took charge of Valencia, praised Sadiq's exemplary attitude and commitment to the team.
"From day one, he has come with the necessary attitude and mentality to play for Valencia CF," Corberán said.
"Whoever comes must come with that commitment and that intention to help. Today was a first step where he has shown that attitude necessary for this moment."
