Coppa Italia: Unstoppable Lookman scores twice in two minutes

It was a show of confidence from Atalanta on Thursday afternoon as the Bergamo side progressed to the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia, defeating Spezia 5-2.

Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman replicated his goals contribution against Salernitana in the laeague over the weekend with another brace against Spezia four days later.

The Nigeria international gave his side early two-goal lead when he poked in a headed effort from just a yard out after 10 minutes to put his side 1-0 up before finding his brace just two minutes later with a strong drilled strike following a slick one-two with Duvan Zapata.

Although Spezia tried to put up a fight when Albin Ekdal and Daniele Verde before and Atalanta third goal but the host put the game to rest with two more goals, one of which was own goal from Ethan Ampadu.

Atalanta will be counting on the golden legs of Lookman in the quarter final as Gianpiero Gasperini team faces title holders Inter Milan
