Spanish side, Real Sociedad have included striker, Sadiq Umar in the squad for their Copa del Rey Round 16 tie against Osasuna, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 25 year-old was reported to have suffered knee injury while in preparatory camp with the Super Eagles for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations before he was excused from team.
Barely four days later, Sadiq was seen charging and running with no trace of injury before training with the rest of the team the following day.
The former AS Roma forward could as well play against Osasuna on Thursday after Real Sociedad included listed for Cup game.
Trabzonspor striker, Paul Onuachu who joined the rest of the team on Saturday in Côte d’Ivoire was called up as a replacement replace of Sodiq.
