Congo based Solomon Asante salutes Jordan Ayew for breakthrough season

Ghana and TP Mazembe influential winger Solomon Asante says Jordan Ayew has proven he has come of age this season and that is good news for his nation.

Jordan has scored 12 goals in the French league 1 including a breath taking double against his former side Marseille on his return to the Valedrome.

The youngest son of Abedi has struggled to meet his potential his bursting into the scene some seasons ago.

He scored a hat-trick for the Black Stars in a friendly against South Korea just before the world but that has been the highlight of a promising international career.

But after a season that has seen him silence his critics with his over all display his national colleague Solomon Asante says he has monitored him at close hand and is impressed with the maturity in his game this season.

“Jordan has always had talent and we all were aware but off course this season not just his goals but his performance has proved it,” Asante told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I watch a lot of French football and most of his colleagues even trust him more now.”

“His performance is certainly a welcome news to his club and to us.”
