Confluence Queens Football Club of Lokoja will be seeking to ensure qualification to the Super Six tournament when they play Nasarawa Amazons in their Wednesday's match, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Queens from Kogi claimed the top spot of the league group B log leading Robo and Edo Queens with a point after win a 1-2 win over Abia Angels in Umuahia last week Wednesday.
Now Confluence Queens Technical Adviser, Whyte Ogbonda believes they are poised to achieve the feat when they play Nasarawa Amazons especially after an 8-match unbeaten run.
"We are eight games unbeaten in the ongoing NWLF Premiership season and we are ready and determined to take it to ten games." Whyte Ogbonda said ahead of the match against Nasarawa Amazons.
Besides, the Team Manager of Confluence Queens, Mrs Tosin Olorunleke Ojo urged her players to reaffirm give their all to ensure victory on Wednesday.
"All of you have to be 100% focused and committed to fight together for the aims and objectives," stated Tosin Olorunleke Ojo.
The last time the two teams met in Makurdi, the match had ended 1-2 in favour of Confluence Queens. A win for the New direction Ladies in Lokoja wil see them book their place in super six.
