Izuchukwu Okonkwo has completed a permanent move to Czech side, S.K. Slavia Prague for an undisclosed fee and he will immediately join up with the B-Team pending necessary documentations which will be issue next month, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Speaking during the player's contract signing, sports director Jiri Bilek admitted that the club has been following the 19-year old midfielder for a while and are glad that he's finally here with them.
"We have been following Izuchukwa for a long time and he went through our scouting system. In the matches he played for Plovdiv and Armenian Van, the B-team coaches also saw him, who were looking for such a player for the team.

"He is a very strong and talented player who has great potential to play for the A-team. However, he still has a long way to go and I am keeping my fingers crossed that this journey will be successful," jiri added.
He previously featured for FC Van in the Armenian First League, making 28 league appearances and scoring six goals over the course of the season. In addition to his league performances, he started four matches in the Armenian Cup, where he added two more goals to his tally.
Following his impressive stint in Armenia, he has now secured a move to Slavia, signing a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2030.
