Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo says his will eliminate AS Police of Benin despite a slender 1-0 advantage from the first leg of their 2015 Confederation Cup preliminary round qualifier.
The Phobians needed an early goal from striker Selasie Adjei to edge their West African neighbours in a close contest at the Accra Sports Stadium.
AS Police will host the 2000 African champions on 01 March in the return but Addo says there’s no need to panic.
“We scored a goal at home and I am confident that we will score again in the second leg to kill of the game in Benin when we go there,” Addo told GHANAsoccernet.com
“The boys did well against a tough opponent.”
