Abubakar Yusif has denied media reports he has resigned as head coach of Heart of Lions.
Reports are rife that the former Hearts of Oak trainer has quit his post at Lions following their demotion from the Premier League in the just ended season.
But Yusif Abubakar insists he is still a coach of Heart of Lions.
“I don’t know where this report came from,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“I am still working with Heart of Lions and in the process of compiling and presenting my report on the season.
“It is therefore not true that I have resigned.”
Lions endured a disappointing campaign to join BA United and Great Olympics as the three relegated clubs from Ghana's top flight.
