Nigeria's Chuba Akpom continued his goal scoring form as he led Ajax FC to a big away win over PEC Zwolle in the 27th match of the 2023/2024 Eredivisie on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Akpom scored twice to cement victory for the Jews in their 1-3 win at the MAC³PARK stadion.
Kristian Hlynsson opened score on 12 minute before the former Middleborough forward doubled the lead 12 minutes later as the score remained 0-2 at half time.
Filip Krastev pulled one back for the hosts, but Chuba Akpom ended every thought of a comeback with his second of the game on 84 minute.
Akpom's assisted win takes Ajax FC to 5th with 44 points. He now has 13 goals to his record this season.
