Inter manager Christian Chivu said his players “prefer to play rather than train” as he addressed the squad’s fringe options before Saturday’s Serie A match against Parma.
Chivu was speaking at a news conference ahead of the meeting, which will take place in the sixth round of the Italian championship.
The Inter boss was asked whether the fixture could provide an opportunity for the team’s reserve players to show what they can do.
Inter go into the match second in the table with 13 points, while Parma are 15th on four points.
