Nigeria forward Chiwendu Ihezuo have extended her contract with Mexican top-flight women’s football side, Pachuca till 2o27 with an option of an extra year, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.
Chiwendu Ihezuo, a former Monterrey player will remain in Mexico till 2027 and even beyond going by her new contract situation.
The former Delta Queens player who can play a variety of positions up front has made 17 appearances so far with 13 goals, 4 assists, and 31 shots on goal and is expected to further help the club in achieving its set goals and objectives.
It will be recalled that she was recently invited to the Super Falcons during the Olympics qualifiers in which she contributed towards the Nigeria Women’s team securing qualification to the Paris Olympic games.
CF Pachuca finished the regular season in second position with 42 points in the Clausura 2024 Liga MX Femenil with the chance of winning the title at the end of the campaign.
She previously played for Guangdon Meizhou in the Chinese Women’s Super League before switching to Mexico for the 2022/2023 season.
