Inter manager Cristian Chivu has defended Hakan Calhanoglu after the midfielder was criticised by Turkey supporters for missing the national team’s match against Italy.
“I needed to work with him,” Chivu said while discussing the situation involving the 32-year-old.
Calhanoglu has made four club appearances this season and has scored two goals.
