Chippa United tie down Nwabali to new deal

South Africa club, Chippa United have tied down Super Eagles goalkeeper to a new deal to ward off any transfer suitors in bid to keep their 204/25 campaign titles pursuit in course, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The club made the announcement on their X handle with a post which read:

"We are pleased to announce that Stanley Nwabali has signed an improved three-year contract with Chippa United FC".

"We are incredibly proud of Stanley’s dedication and commitment to the club. His leadership on and off the field has been exemplary, and we believe he is the right person to guide our team through the challenges ahead. With this been said Stanley will be our new team captain for the upcoming season".

The club expressed their wish for Stanley's continued success in his career, both in domestic competitions and on the international stage as both parties look forward to achieving great things together in the seasons to come.

Nwabali has been called up to the latest Super Eagles squad for the clash against Rwanda and Benin Republic, the first of Bruno Labbadia's reign.
