The former Delta Queens player who recently joined Monterrey from the Chinese side, Guangdong Meizhou Hakka was brought on at the beginning of the second half to replace Lizette Rodriguez.
Jazmin Enrigue scored in the 58th minute to give Ihezuo's team the lead after a barren first phase. It could have been two following a penalty miss by Dania Perez 18 minutes later.
However, the score remained 1-0 till the end as Monterrey got their fifth consecutive win of the season.
Ihezuo, 25 left Nigeria for her first professional move to Kazakhstan side, BIIK Kazygurt and went on to join Henan Jianye before later teaming up with Guangdong Meizhou Hakka.
