Nigerian forward Chisom Chikatara is delighted to have finally made his debut for Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca. The former Abia Warriors striker played his first official game for Wydad in Wednesday’s 4-3 penalty shootout win against Al Nassr in the Tabuk International Tournament in Saudi Arabia. The 21-year-old was in action for 62 minutes in the game before making way for Ondama. “It’s great to have finally played my first official game for Wydad,” the player who came into limelight after scoring four goals for Nigeria at the African Nations Championship early in the year in Rwanda told Completesportsnigeria.com. “I was eager to make it a memorable debut by scoring on the night but the most important thing is that we won. “I look forward to playing in the final. Hopefully we will go back home with the trophy.” John Toshack’s men will take on Entag El Harbi in the final of the competition on Friday.
