Cher Ndour drawing Premier League interest as Fiorentina weigh 2027 future

Cher Ndour is attracting growing attention from the Premier League, with Liverpool among the clubs monitoring the Fiorentina midfielder ahead of a possible move in 2027.

According to TEAMtalk, the Reds remain interested in the 22-year-old Senegal international, whose progress has also been followed by a number of other English clubs. Manchester United and Liverpool had previously been linked with Ndour, and the interest from Liverpool is understood to have continued.

Ndour has already gained experience in four of Europe’s leading domestic leagues during his young career. After spending time with Paris Saint-Germain, he joined Fiorentina in 2025 and has continued his development in Italy.

A move to England could provide the midfielder with another significant step in his career if he decides to seek a new challenge in 2027. However, no decision has been made, and Fiorentina remain in control of his situation.

Six Premier League clubs tracking midfielder

Liverpool are not alone in keeping watch over Ndour. Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Hull City all made enquiries about the player at the beginning of the summer.

Those clubs are continuing to follow his progress and could consider making a move if Ndour becomes receptive to leaving Fiorentina. The level of interest means he would have several possible destinations should he choose to pursue a career in the Premier League.

For now, the midfielder remains focused on his time in Florence. At 22, he still has considerable scope for improvement and intends to continue progressing in Italy before deciding on his next move.

PSG could benefit from future sale

A future transfer could also have financial implications for Paris Saint-Germain. When Ndour moved to Fiorentina in 2025, the French club negotiated a clause entitling it to 50% of any profit made from a subsequent sale.

That agreement could become an important factor in negotiations if an English club submits a substantial offer. Fiorentina would need to account for the clause when assessing the value of any deal and calculating the proceeds from a potential transfer.

Ndour’s immediate focus remains with Fiorentina, who will soon face Napoli in their fifth league match of the season. But if the midfielder decides to test himself in the Premier League in 2027, there is already expected to be no shortage of suitors.
