Chelsea are seriously targeting Como central defender Jacobo Ramon, according to transfer insider Ekrem Konur.
The 21-year-old Spanish defender has attracted growing interest from several major European clubs after establishing himself in Italy under the management of Cesc Fabregas.
Chelsea are considered one of the leading contenders for Ramon, who has emerged as a promising young centre-back during his time at Como. However, the player is reportedly happy at the club and is not in a hurry to leave.
Ramon has also been linked with a return to Real Madrid, where he came through the academy. The Spanish club could sign him for a significantly reduced fee because of a first-refusal buy-back clause included in his previous move.
The defender’s current value on Transfermarkt is €45m.
