Chelsea are preparing a €100m offer for Atletico de Madrid midfielder Pablo Barrios as they look to beat competition from Paris Saint-Germain for the Spain international, according to football insider Ekrem Konur.
The 23-year-old has attracted interest from several leading European clubs, with Chelsea keen to secure his signature. Paris Saint-Germain are also considering a move for Barrios, reportedly at the request of their manager, Luis Enrique.
Chelsea’s proposed offer would be worth €100m for the transfer of the central midfielder. Liverpool and Arsenal are also monitoring the player’s progress.
Barrios has been part of Atletico de Madrid’s first-team squad since January 2023. His current contract with the club runs until the end of June 2030.
