Andriy Shevchenko, the former Chelsea and Milan striker and Ukraine international, turned 50 on Tuesday, 29 September.
Chelsea’s press office congratulated the former forward on his milestone birthday.
Shevchenko represented Chelsea from 2006 to 2009 after establishing himself as one of the leading strikers in European football. During his time with the London club, the Ukraine forward won the FA Cup and the League Cup.
At international level, Shevchenko made 111 appearances for Ukraine, scoring 48 goals.
