Chelsea legend Glenn Hoddle went all tongue wagging about the ability of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen as he tries to analyze his quality display against Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Champions league on Tuesday night. Nigeriasiccernet.com reports.
Osimhen was a handful on the night give his team a penalty (which was missed by Kvaratskhelia) before he grab the headline for scoring his 20th goal of the season.
Hoddle describing Osimhen claims he has what it takes to play in England.
“He [Osimhen] has got that pace to go in behind defenders,” Hoddle told BT Sport.
“And he is also good at hold-up play as well, he can hold the ball up. He’s got everything at the moment.
“He is a top, top player. Let’s hope he can just continue, be injury free, and end up in the Premier League. It would be lovely to see him play every other week.”
Chelsea and Manchester United could offer around £100 million for the striker this summer which should be enough to tempt Napoli into selling their star man.
