Chelsea are monitoring Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari after talks over a new contract reportedly reached an impasse, according to TEAMtalk.
The 23-year-old Sweden international has attracted interest from several clubs, with Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, AC Milan and a number of Premier League sides also understood to be following his situation.
Brighton remain keen to keep Ayari, but the club value the central midfielder at about €50m. His current contract situation could give Chelsea an opportunity to pursue a deal if an agreement with Brighton cannot be reached.
Ayari has made 12 appearances for Brighton in all competitions this season and has scored two goals.
