Camp Update: Nwabili and Chukwueze take players in Abu Dhabi to 19

AC Milan forward, Samuel Chukwueze has teamed up with the his Super Eagles teammates in Abu Dhabi camp in the United Arab Emirates in preparation for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Chukwueze resuming on Wednesday rather than yesterday, already had the consent of the Nigeria Football Federation after the Serie A giant took permission to feature him Round 16 Coppa Italia match against Cagliari, a game the Rosonoerri won 4-1.

Also joining the camp is Chippa United goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabili.

The 27-year-old will compete with Francis Uzoho and Olorunleke Ojo for a starting berth in the team.

The Super Eagles will face either Burkina Faso or Guinea in a friendly before the competition.

The players will spend one week in Abu Dhabi before traveling to Abidjan for the 2023 AFCON finals.
