"?Cameron Jerome has put pen to paper on a new three-year deal with Norwich City after the 29-year-old's contract was due to expire in 12 months time, but he has now committed his future to the club until 2019.
The pacey attacker moved to Carrow Road from Stoke City back in 2014 and he has gone on to grab 21 goals in 75 league appearances.
Alex Neil's men were relegated to the Championship last season and his experience will be vital to their hopes of bouncing back at the first attempt.
Speaking to Norwich's "?official website, Jerome said: "It's nice to get this deal over the line early on so I can come back fully focused ready for next season.
"Within a couple weeks of joining I realised what a good club this was. It's a good set of players and the manager is really enthusiastic and wants to help the lads improve.
"We need to come back with fresh optimism to get the job done and get promoted again next season, that's the challenge now."
Several of Norwich's first-team stars will be seeking to stay in the Premier League by securing moves to rival clubs, but Neil is happy that he has retained his star hit-man.
He said "We're very happy that Cameron has agreed a new deal to secure his future at the club."
"He is a proven goalscorer at Championship level, as his record during our recent promotion-winning campaign proved. He will be an asset for us.
"As I said when we gave Steven Whitakker a new deal, it's important that we've got guys who have experience of winning matches in the Championship. With this contract signed, Cameron can fully focus on helping us achieve our aims next season."
