Bayelsa Queens only scorer against Mamelodi Sundowns on Monday, Mary-Mandalene Anjor has urged her teammates to put the pass behind them and get the job done on their next game.

The Nigeria lost 1-2 to the South African team who where two goals up in the 57th minutes following a brace from Lelona Daweti in the first half and second half.

However, Anjor who came into the game in the second half reduced the deficit on the 80th minute with a superb strike that was later voted as the goal of day.

Anjor whose goal couldn't avert the damage said after the match that it was disappointing to have lost the match, but her teammates need to pick themselves up and keep their heads up.

"We are all disappointed over the result of the match on Monday, but we need to pick ourselves up and keep our heads up. In Football, the games comes quickly and we were unfortunate on Monday, not to have picked at least a draw.

"We have another game on Thursday and we need to put things right, by winning outrightly."

The former Osun Babes player became the first player to score a goal against Sundowns Ladies in the CAF Women's Champions League.

Bayelsa Queens play TP Mazembe Ladies of Congo in their second group game on Thursday.

The Congolese ladies have three points after a game following their 1-0 win over Wadi Degla.
