CAFWCL: Bayelsa Queens drawn against Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies

WAFU B champions Bayelsa Queens FC have been drawn to face South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns in the second Edition of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League.

During the draw conducted today at the Mohammed VI Technical Centre in Rabat, Morocco, Bayelsa Queens FC have been placed in Group B which also has the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies of South Africa, Wadi Degla (Egypt) and a representative from the UNIFFAC Zone.

The Nigeria team qualified to represent the WAFU regional after beating Ampem Darkoa Ladies of Ghana 3-0 n the final of the Zonal qualifier last month in Yammosoukro.

The tournament which will attract eight teams will take place October 30th to November 13th in Morocco.

Group A will have the last year’s bronze medalists AS FAR FC, Simba Queens, Green Buffaloes FC (Zambia) and Liberia’s Determine Girls FC..
