CAFCC: Young African of Tanzania rewarded handsomely for Rivers United Victory

The players and technical crew of the Young Africans of Tanzania have been handsomely rewarded with a Cash gift for their outstanding performance against Rivers United in CAF confederation cup

The club president Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan visited the team training on Wednesday morning to offer his moral support to the team.

He handed over cash of Tsh 10 million ( US$4,251.74) as a reward for the team's victory in Nigeria.

The prolific Congolese Striker Fiston Mayele caused the damage to Rivers United by scoring 2-0 away goal in the first leg of the quarter final game which took place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo

Young African will hope to proceed to semi final of the competition following their first leg 2-0 advantage while hoping for a better result at home. Rivers United however have a mountain to climb in Tanzania to upturn a 0-2 deficit.
